Curriculum

A very wide variety of courses and subject choices is a feature of education at Queen's.

• As well as a compulsory core of subjects taught in the junior school (Years 9 - 10) there are many option choices available to complete a year's course of study

• In the senior school (Years 11 - 13) there is a very broad range of subjects available for selection. There is wide flexibilty in course requirements at this level

• Special emphasis is given at all levels to supporting those who need extra teaching assistance and to those whose speed and ease of learning indicates that extension to learning is appropriate. A broad range of alternatives exist for both of these groups

• There are several courses that operate in a way that is entirely different from the normal classroom/teacher environment

• Queen's also has facilities that cater for students with very special learning needs
