AWARDS FOR 2025

A tradition that began in 2005 was for the Ex Girls to recognise dynamic
and long serving staff with a ‘Living Treasure Award’ recognizing their
depth and length of service to Queen’s.

Yvonne Covey and Sharon Stumbles have each been at Queen’s for
over twenty years. Their contribution to the life of Queen’s has been
remarkable in a very different way to a teacher.

Yvonne started in 2004 as an Accounts Manager and has worked
tirelessly ensuring that the finances of the school are kept in superb
order. Her role in the school is now Business Manager, and with
this goes huge responsibility for reporting and managing the numerous
aspects of financial requirements. She has the management of financial
and administrative staff humming along very well. She is highly
appreciated at Queen’s.

Sharon started in 2005 as a Financial Assistant. Her effervescent
manner and strong work ethic has led her to a variety first point of
contact positions at Queen’s, currently personal assistant to the
principal. In this role Sharon is superwoman ensuring the success of
Queen’s, its staff and students are to the forefront. She has her finger on
the pulse and knows exactly when to push the button!!
