Triathlon at Queen’s has grown in popularity over the past few years, with students from all abilities and backgrounds participating in one-off events. We have current students who have competed in Regional, South Island and National events and placed at these events.

Competitions

While there are not weekly school events like most sports, Queen’s enters teams and individuals into the following competitions:

Challenge Wānaka - February

South Island Secondary Schools Competition - March, Oamaru

New Zealand Secondary Schools Nationals Competition - March, alternates between North and South Island
